Courtenay Siegfried is the Vice President at 20K Group. She brings expertise in public relations, writing and editing, as well as program development and management for community organizations. She also leads our 2.0K services, where traditional and interactive methods of communication unite.

Prior to returning to her Houston roots, Courtenay worked in New York City as a researcher, writer and editor for academic and policy publications in the peacebuilding field, including projects for the U.N. Department of Peacekeeping Operations, the U.N. University of Peace and The International Association for Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research. From 2004 to 2007, Courtenay served as a community health specialist with the United States Peace Corps in Tanzania, East Africa.

A native Houstonian, Courtenay holds a master’s in Nonprofit Management with an International Specialization from The New School in New York City and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development with a minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. She currently serves on the Steering Committee of Houston Young People for the Arts (HYPA) and is an active volunteer with Noah’s Kitchenand youth mentoring programs at AIDS Foundation Houston and Easter Seals of Greater Houston. When not working or volunteering, Courtenay can be found at concerts, traveling with a beloved and worn backpack or convening with the fish 40-feet underwater.
